The Evolution of the Escutcheon & Design History Narrative

Birthed on November 17, 1911, the Escutucheon has been the iconic symbol of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for over 113 years.  Throughout that time, the Escutcheon has been modified and advanced in design. Those design advancements and history have been captured on a must-have poster set for any Omega Man.

The Evolution of the Escutcheon poster is a standard 24” x 18” poster that displays the progression of Omega’s shield, the Escutcheon, from its beginning to its current form. Accompanying this poster is an 11” x 17” design history narrative that provides the history of its evolution, the designers of the Escutcheon, and other relevant information.
